♠ - What are they afraid of?
There are many things Hikari is afraid of, being something as silly as her mom’s food or something as scary as the Dark Ocean. But if she had to narrow it down to one thing, she thinks that what she’d be the most afraid of would be being alone. Having no one to count on. Being deserted by the people she loves and appreciates the most. It scares her, a lot, and she can’t ever help but wonder what would’ve happened if she never had Taichi to help her? If Takeru had been turned into a keychain when they were fighting Piemon? If Miyako had never given her the strength to overcome the Dark Ocean?
Being alone scares her, petrifies her. Even though she knows that there will be challenges she’ll have to learn to overcome by herself, having someone by her side, even if its for moral support, makes her feel much more safe, more comfortable, more sound.
♦ - What is one thing that they are most proud of?
Although she doesn’t like showing off, she’s definitely proud of her photo albums, all of which are filled with pictures she’s taken. She hasn’t really showed them to anyone yet, but in her opinion, the most recent the pictures get, the more skillful they look. Hikari’s definitely proud of them, seeing as it only started as a hobby, but now it’s more of a passion of her.
☼ - Something that/Someone that makes them happy.
Honestly, there are three individuals who make her the happiest, and she’s definitely clear on who they are.
First of all, there’s Tailmon. Obviously, her digimon partner is the person who makes her the happiest. Just by knowing that this is someone she can always count on, she can always trust, she can always look up to, she feels happy. The feelings that bind them together are indescribable, and it sometimes feels as if they were meant to be, and maybe it’s because they really were. To Hikari, Tailmon is like the big sister, the companion she never had.
Next in line comes Takeru. She really doesn’t know where to start with this kid. They’ve been through so much together, since such a young age, and they continued to be best friends even if they didn’t see each other for a few years. She loves him so so much, she has no idea how she was blessed with such an amazing friend. Honestly, she could not imagine her life without him, since he’s been there for the most of it. What makes her the happiest about their relationship, is that they both know each other so well that they don’t need words to communicate. A look in the eye, or a simple show of their feelings is enough to know what they want to say.
Last but definitely not least, Miyako. This girl is the big sister she never had but always wanted. Sure, she may be a bit loud and obnoxious sometimes, but that doesn’t mean that the simple fact that knowing that she’s there makes her happy. Honestly, although she had other female friends before, none of them can compare to the purple-haired girl. It makes her feel relaxed, comfortable, alleviated that she has a girlfriend she can always count on. Someone who she can tell literally everything. Someone who she can talk to and not be afraid that she’s being judge. Or someone who won’t get bored if she starts talking about “girly things”, but instead will always get excited. If there’s something she’s completely sure of, Hikari knows her life wouldn’t be as great as it is right now if she weren’t there.
☮ - Do they have an idol or someone they look up to?
You could ask her this question as many times as you want to, but the answer will never change. The person she has always looked up to, and always will, is definitely her onii-chan, Taichi. She doesn’t know how it started, but he was always so much more, so much better than any hero with a cape, or any knight in shining armor ready to save a princess. He was always true to her, to everyone. Ready to take action, ready to give up everything for those whom he loved. Always making the best decision, not for him, but for those around him. If anything, that was what Hikari thought what it was to be courageous, it was what she called a true heroe.
