Hello, homies! Happy to announce that I didn't lose my job lol, but lots of other stuff surely did happen LOL. The past year and some months have been an insane rollercoaster. In between all of the craziness, I promised myself that I would finish this story before I moved onto the next chapter of my life. I hope to be doing new things come 2026, including getting a new job that doesn't stress me out daily. First world problems, as always!

But, because I want to start 2026 anew, I wanted to make sure this book was done, so here you have it. A new chapter every month through the end of the year. Some months with two chapters, hehe. Thank you for sticking around. I hope all my Hikaru/Sai enjoyers are ready for some angsty fun. Since the hiatus lasted longer than I expected, I thought it appropriate to move the story forward six months. So yes, timeskip! In a fanfiction like this one trying to pay Boss Lady Hotta homage, it's only appropriate that we skip forward to all the juicy bits.
