Even when at times, this hike was extremely difficult, I was blown away by its beauty! The photo where I'm pointing to the top of the mountain is Kebnekaise mountain. That's where we hiked up to and had a beautiful view! It was well worth it, but it's a hike that you need to prepare for. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are two trails that you can take. One that's longer but easier, that's the one we took. As we wandered down the path, much of the trail had boards to make it easier for hikers. This would help a lot if it had been raining. In Sweden, they like that people wander in nature. So many of the hikes I've done in Sweden, I've noticed that they try to make the trails more accessible to all kinds of hikers. Here is a great view that's near our home in Sweden. I was blown away once we made it to this spot. The trail wasn't super hard and there were bridges created when it becomes rainy season. The birds chirped loudly as we hiked up to a wonderful view. This was a way we were preparing for our hike up Kebnekaise. Boy, was that a hard one! My hubby, doggie, and I enjoyed this nice hike in Hovfjället Nature Reserve. The hike was a nice one filled with wooden sculptures throughout the path. They were created from tree stumps and left for hikers to adore! Plus, there’s the view on top with a nice grill spot and sitting area! The sun’s rays peeked through the clouds but the clouds kept fighting back. It was a little cool but a great temperature when you’re getting your adrenaline pumping. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We began our journey hiking up and down, then up again. Finally we made it to the top of the Stoney mountain and found a sign in book. Vandrarleden is a wonderful hike that’s 30 minutes away from Stockholm.
