The viewing spot at Hamra National Park is spectacular! It gives you a pleasant view of the water and the forests. This is a nice park filled with marshes and flat hiking paths. It has man made trails and great places for picnics. Each step forward got us closer to our destination. But we still had a lot to go. It took us about 16-18 hours to finish this hike. I had issues with my feet on the way down. So, we had to take it a bit slower for me. But we did it! Even when the weather wasn't on our side, we made it! It worked out and the weather decided to give us a break. The sun came out and cleared the sky. Even when at times, this hike was extremely difficult, I was blown away by its beauty! The photo where I'm pointing to the top of the mountain is Kebnekaise mountain. That's where we hiked up to and had a beautiful view! It was well worth it, but it's a hike that you need to prepare for. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are two trails that you can take. One that's longer but easier, that's the one we took. This adventure was filled with all kinds of weather! We started off with a sunny day. But as we began getting to the top of the mountain, the sky turned grey. The menacing clouds crept closer to us. Then, rain starting pelting down and soon turned into icicles. Both of us almost gave up to reach the top. But my hubby said that it looked like it would clear up. We waited it out, and like he said, it cleared! Phew! That was rough! The birds chirped loudly as we hiked up to a wonderful view. This was a way we were preparing for our hike up Kebnekaise. Boy, was that a hard one! My hubby, doggie, and I enjoyed this nice hike in Hovfjället Nature Reserve. Once we made it to the top, the view was awesome! We could see the tree and the trees surrounding it. Farm houses were spread out beneath us. Even with it being a cloudy day, it was still beautiful. The hike was well worth it. This place is a bit off the road as we drove to Stockholm.
