Hilda, the show that has changed mine and so many others lives forever, is 7 years old today.
I would not be here doing what I am doing today if it weren't for this generational masterpiece. Hilda has pivoted the way of how emotional and whimsical storytelling/writing in an animated series could be. From season 1 even all the way to season 3, Hilda has shown us that creative and colorful worlds can make already great piece of media, that much more special to resonate within us for years to come. Truly a show that deserves to be remembered forever.
Almost a month after the series premiered on Netflix was when I first started watching it when I was only 14. Today, not only am I 21 years old, and still being the biggest fan of all time, I now have the privilege of developing my own fan-made iceberg-list style series that has sought the help of hundreds of Hilda fans and supporters all around the world. Hilda will always remain a special part of who I am and what I do, and I don't regret it for the world especially if it makes so many people happy.
