Hilditch & Key Paris fisher rib thick wool sweater.
This. This is what started it. The cashmere silk neckerchief made in France for the Paris branch of Hilditch & Key, which used to have nothing in common with its London parent. The pattern is based on the Dame à la Licorne series of medieval tapestries, in a museum near the Sorbonne. I wrote a book about French #steez that this scarf helped kickstart. (Speaking of which I need to finish my edits once I stop feeling fucking shattered by the times we live in.) Drakes borrowed this pattern for silk or wool scarves and squares. This is the OG. #swansongsrjdm #madeinfrance #hildeetch #handkparis #elegant #menswear #steez #parisstyle #frenchstyle https://www.instagram.com/p/CDPJqgpJt77/?igshid=ws66nhku4jff
With thanks to @kerloazdiary, a design too luxurious for @drakesdiary to copy, a breath from a luxurious Parisian past in cashmere and silk… #hildeetch #swansongsrjdm #steez #elegant #beautiful #menswear #haberdasher #h&kparis https://www.instagram.com/p/B8U6JoKJgIg/?igshid=ste4hx21gl7u
Hilditch & Key Paris’ signature cashmere-silk scarf with images from the tapestry La dame a la licorne. Only produced for the Paris shop, not London, and printed in Lyon. Drake’s would make this pattern popular on silks and wools, but never cashmere. I write about this and more in my book.

Details. A hand-stitched buttonhole on a French-made Hilditch & Key Paris bespoke shirt. I mean, as best as I can tell, on close inspection it looks hand-stitched, but the stitching is quite dense and fine for handwork - which is a good thing and also almost irreproducible today.
The shirred cuffs of a French-made Hilditch & Key Paris bespoke shirt.
And very long shirt tails, to stay tucked.
