you literally cannot study anything medieval without coming across st. hildegard, she’s literally a jack of all trades. and she was so profoundly close to God, i admire her so much. she’s gonna be my confirmation saint one day :)

May 1: "Why would I help someone like you?"

I’M SO LATE 😭😭😭

(I mean, unless it’s still May 1 for you guys. But where I am, it’s an hour and 30 minutes past midnight. Therefore I completely missed the ‘deadline’ lmao. Typical school habits.)

I was finishing assignments, and went out with family, that I didn’t get back to this draft. I rushed it for the sake of having something for May 1. (Didn’t get to clean it properly either).

So yeah, fun fact according to me: Hildegard was friends with Caradoc and Rosa for years already but she wasn’t a professor. Just those two. When Lou came, and was determined to learn everything because… he’s extra, she eventually caved in and taught him. After warming up to him, she applied as a professor for history and continued teaching Lou there, along with other leaders-in-training. Not without fixing herself up with a repainting ofc. (Face cracks are because she’s old).

What was she doing all those jobless years, you ask? Isolating and reliving her traumatic loss.

Edited: I’d just like to add that Caradoc and Rosa intentionally directed Lou to her, because they’re tired of seeing their friend drown in despair.
