58) If TGW did a musical episode, what song(s) would you want them to sing?

I would demand original music. I would also like to hear covers of some other songs from the original artist of Thicky Trick. Actually, they could just make a musical episode out of his Getty Images catalog. Yes. That is my answer. 

62) What season of Alicia’s hair do you like the most?

Ohhh. This is a tough one. I love early season 1 hair, but I don’t think it would suit Alicia right now (though… her hair is starting to look like s1 again). The s3 wig is really pretty when it doesn’t look awful. I love s4 hair and think it looks very sophisticated; I think 4x01 might be my favorite episode for Alicia’s hair.

I'm not a huge fan of any of Kalinda's love interests, (at all) but her storyline with Lana was kind of interesting to me. The bit where Lana talked about her mom got me wondering if they might do something with Kalinda's parents. It just seemed like such a strange thing for Lana to say to her, that I feel like the writers are probably gonna expand on it. What did you think of the whole thing? Do you think that would be a good storyline?

I liked that scene a lot and would love to hear more about Kalinda’s background— the mundane stuff, not more about Nick and that whole disaster. I hope you’re right about the writers expanding on that. I’m not crazy about the way 6x05 used Lana because I felt it rewrote (or reset?) history with them a little, but if the writers want to go down this path, I’m all for it. Just as long as delving into Kalinda’s past this time around doesn’t involve any ice cream, eggs, or abusive exes.

Things needed: 

any version of photoshop will do

knowledge about making gifs [tutorial here] (this tutorial wouldn't work for you if you don't know the basics and how to copy paste frames etc.)

1. After opening Photoshop, make a new worksheet.  File > New (or Ctrl + N) ... a prompt box will appear.  Apply these settings.

Then, your workplace should look like this.

2. That's an empty slate so now, find the Paint Bucket Tool along the left panel. Pressing G on your keyboard will also trigger this. Select #ffffff as your background color. (or any color you wish to use)

3. Now to make things easier later, guides will be very useful in this project. Perform the guides listed below.

Orientation: Vertical / Position: 10px

Orientation: Vertical / Position: 235px

Orientation: Horizontal / Position: 23px

Orientation: Horizontal / Position: 335px

Orientation: Horizontal / Position: 150px

Orientation: Horizontal / Position: 195px

This is how your workplace should look like: 

4. Use a photo, reduce its size to 245px by 150px. (could be a .gif too if you wish) This will function as the header of your tumblr plus gif. Drag it across the slate, make sure that it is above your SECOND HORIZONTAL GUIDE.

5. Now fetch your Type Tool. You can also press T on your keyboard to trigger this. Now on the first horizontal guide, type the tumblr url like for example, hepburny. Tweak appearance by selecting the type layer, right-click and select Blending Options... I put a drop shadow over my text to make it more visible even in white.

6. Now put a blog title just above the THIRD HORIZONTAL GUIDE. Use any font, any color, any size (best to make them big and bold)

........ now for the difficult part.

7. What we're lacking is: the three boxes down, the blog description and the avatar icon. We're gonna start with the gifs now so select Window > Timeline if you haven't yet.

8. Add an additional guide to separate the DESCRIPTION and the BLOG CONTENT. View > New Guide... > Orientation: Horizontal, Position: 255px.

9. Key in a description with a preferably small font. 

10. AVATAR ICON: can be a circle or square. Width / Diameter: 56px. Create an outline for this avatar. Use the Ellipse Tool. Set it to Width: 70px. Make the Fill: / and Stroke: White - 2px. Put the image layer beneath the outline layer. Looks something like this. 

11. 3 GIF BOXES: Load separate gifs depending on how you'd like them to work. Resize to 66px x 66px. Tip: LIMIT NUMBER OF FRAMES TO 10-15. 

12. Create an outline for the boxes. Use Round Rectangle Tool. Apply settings. Make 3 & align them above the last horizontal guide.

13. Copy frames of the gifs, PASTE OVER SELECTION. Drag across the slate and rearrange gifs. Final output:

It's amazes me how the movie can change tones so smoothly. It can be sentimental one moment and then down-right despicable the next. And omg, Bette Davis and Anne Baxter are both incredibly amazing in the film!
