Charles Worth did not have a sewing machine. Re: The plastic bobbin on my vintage Singer Touch & Sew (sewing) 600E sewing machine just broke in half. It's a weird/unusual machine that uses these bobbins that you screw together and they are wound in a different way than traditional machines. I only have -- well, had -- one bobbin. I have been busy sewing clothing for a portfolio review of sorts next week. So there is no time (or in my case at present cash) to order a replacement bobbin (which they have on EBAY just slowwww). SO I am going to finish everything by hand I guess. I'm so okay with this. I have fifteen or more garments in various stages of completion. I can roll with hand sewing, like a good number of my artist and book art friends, I really love and enjoy sewing things by hand. I love the old machine (it's an odd duck machine /version that Singer came up with only for a few years in the early 70's I think. I really enjoy working on it - it runs like a little Shetland Pony. So, when I can, I will get more bobbins and continue, but for now I gotta keep going. #mensfashion #mensfashionblog #mensfashionpost #mensfashiondesign #womensfashionreview #urbanstyle #urbanstyleblog #urbanfashionblog #urbanstyleblogger #urbanfashionblogger #hilomen #hilofashion #hilomensblog #hilomensfashion #mensfashionposts #mensstyleblog #mensstyleguide #mensstyleblogger #handmademenswear #handmadeunderwear #dutyfreeranger #vintagestyle #singertouchandsew #singersewingmachine #singersewerblog #hautecouture #hautecouturemen #handmadewomenswear
