It's Showtime

The rain outside seemed to chill to the bone, but once you hear just inside a massive tent, with a large, round entrance hole, the rabble and conversation seemed to die down. A singular voice rang out, hushing the crowd inside.

"Welcome ladies and gentlefolk. Today, I'd like to make your acquaintance and share with you the wonderful world of magic and mysticism."

The woman smiled, widely, and beamed to the small crowd, it was comforting and yet at the same time almost a little unnerving to the senses, as if the hackles on your neck rose and fell with the throng of the crowd.

Stepping closer together she beconed the crowd to turn and follow her deeper inside. The dark green rugs, and the lighting inside seemed to harness the wilderness and yet, it's rustic and charming feel, the soft smell of rosewood and pine, cherry, cedar, and a hint of sandlewood all floated from place to place as her hands moved and she spoke again.

"Once inside the tent, you will be amazed and be wondered by the sheer awesomeness inside. I promise you won't be disappointed."

"Even though for now, I ask you keep silent, for just a moment before the show starts. "

She moved as she spoke, closer and closer to the door behind her, all the while keeping her eyes fixed on everyone and no one at the same moment. Why did the music you heard when you first came in seem to muffle, or was it always like that. Senses dulled slightly, but sharpen as her voice cracked the air once again.

"Behave now, things are just about to get into full swing. Watch, as I share the biggest secret of all." Her hand, her whole stance changed, the soft tingle of scents hit the crowd once more... or was there ever a crowd? Could this have been the trick all along, was there ever a reason to truly believe her? No, of course there was, she just wanted to share a magic trick...

Her smile, her gaze, it truly WAS magical. The wilder side of the circus had come at last!

"The wonders of it all, the powerful magic and mystical wonders. The lights will flash before your eyes, only to be left wondering how it all became so real! Worry not and gather round. The show, is about to start!"

The snap of her finger drew you in closer, the smile, oh the smile, and the laughter. Yes, the laughter was the best part of it all...
