Hi !!! I really love your interpretations of how the story of Fox mask and Hinako story ends. Also sorry for my ramblings !

I just want to say as one of their shipper, I love to think that in the true end they do come to realise what they want in life and come together as lovers and maybe get married but this time whatever decisions need to be made they make it together. That they are equals that truly understand and respect each other. Like his letter to her made my heart flutter, that he was rediscovering himself.

I feel like Kotoyuki is like the husband from 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' (a beautiful korean series, a must watch) because he truly cares for Hinako and is willingly to listen to her desires and let her go if needed in some endings. The fact that he was willing to go through counting her rather than forcefully take her shows that he didn't want to hurt her like the others have. It's just that the curse was also controlling him making him partially distorted on his actions.

Honestly, his ancestors and Hinako's dad can go fuck themselves.

I just want them both to be free and live happily in love together 🫶

you ever have a song that really reminds you of a ship even if the lyrics don't fit it one-for-one? because now i'm listening to this song and Hinako and Kotoyuki and. oh my god. especially during Fox Wets Its Tail from Kotoyuki's POV. and also in Ebisugaoka in Silence, Hinako thinking about him while writing her last journal entries about the pain he endured. both just thinking about her at different points in the story. just... the two thinking about eachother. "The fated land" being their marriage and the decision to break the cycle of violence and abuse
