Like maybe they said that because they wouldn’t. And very likely only incriminate themselves in their own minds to say that but I feel they’re like really weird in another way and there’s just no need to say it.
Like if the subject of rape or abuse comes up, you say, say, idk… “omg that is so terrible I couldn’t even image. How could you do such a thing.”
Not like, me: blah blah blah I’m bored…. Silence…
Them: I would not rape you.

Hi there! Since we have a few months from the last season, just wondering if you've got some meta or predictions or contra-meta (new info that changes a previously published meta -- lol i dunno if there is such a term let's pretend there is okay) in the works? :)
Hey nonny! I love this ask, it prompted me to cruise my meta tag which I haven’t done in a long while so thanks for that!
In regards to my published metas, I feel like most of them still stand up well. The one that sticks out most as contra-meta [cool term btw] is this one on the Blade of Marmora. I put forward a theory that the BoM was a spy organization which originated within the Galra Empire and broke off after becoming disillusioned with Zarkon’s rule. I based this off the fact that Blades operate in a way which more closely resembles spies than it does military units. But as Krolia revealed in s7, the Blades were Galra who broke off individually and found each other over time. A snippet from that meta-
The BoM are first introduced by Ulaz who states they were once part of the Galra Empire. Perhaps not as the organized group they are today, but maybe so… The Empire is militaristic and shown to have many departments within so it’s not a far leap to believe the BoM, built on secrecy and trust, could have been an intelligence agency within Zarkon’s ranks who, no longer able to support this imperialism, broke off to oppose it.
So basically, I bobbed when I should have weaved. I still enjoy this meta even though my theory was disproved. It was an interesting concept to explore and I came to a better understanding of the Blade of Marmora while working on that piece. (maybe the real joy is the fun we had along the way)
As for current and future works, I’ve already posted a few meta in the wake of s7 [Sendak | Macidus/Hagar | Altea | Kolivan], and I actually have a WIP list to help me keep track of what I’m working on / want to write.
Some of the topics I’m currently mulling over are- how Honerva is likely to move forward and who she is going to target (hint: someone needs to be tested and someone else is ready to shine), how Lotor could be tied back into the story, and the complexities of the Altean colony in relation to Romelle and Allura.
I definitely have more in store, but we’ll just have to see what makes it to formal posting before s8 drops.
If there’s anything specific you want to pick my brain on though, I try to keep up with my inbox.

Just looked through some of my old documents from before I left the country, and then it got me looking back to a bunch of old stuff from when I was styling, and even some college stuff...and DANG I’ve come a super long way. It’s so crazy how one decision changed the course of my life to all the possibilities and goals I now have for the future, all the way to the crazy stuff I’m dealing with now.
It’s kind of nice seeing everything, especially the future from the perspective of everything’s that happened in hind sight. Now i just need to push through this little crazy hurdle right now, and continue to see the wild stuff ahead of me
