Wiz Khalifa has been crushing the hip-hop charts for months now and I've been waiting for someone to drop a big remix of "Black And Yellow". Fortuitously, DJ Kue has hooked it up with his heavy electro-dub remode of the single smasher by Wiz. There is huge potential for hip-hop and dubstep to come together, considering they both carry the half-tempo rhythm. This hip-step or hop-step could be a perfect bridge for those who are weary of pure dubstep because it is still danceable and solid layering of lyrics gives each tune a more dynamic 'human' element. I've been working on a similar mashup between dubstep and hip-hop myself which I should have done any day now, so keep an eye and an ear out for it this weekend!
