Walking around the house all morning. Trying to break in that hip prosthetic. Something is completely off with the fit. Hard to put in the work when the prosthetics don't fit right. I had surgery about 4 weeks ago. I'm still in pain and having trouble moving around. The surgery on my leg takes at least 6weeks to heal, so until then, I'm not allowed to wear my prosthesis. Telling me not to wear them is like telling you not to walk for 6 weeks. If you have legs and can walk, not being allowed to would be extremely challenging for you. Well, obviously I don't have legs, but I am able to walk on my fake ones. So when they're taken away from me, EVERYTHING is more challenging. Think about it. Try using the bathroom with no legs. Getting in a car with no legs. Reaching the dishes in the cabinets with no legs. It's hard.
