Happy Birthday to this very tall but kind and amazing singer named Jake🥳🎉
someone remake buttercup with just nathan, whistler, and zach’s backup vocals so it would just be an occasional “she’ll be fine on her own”. no instruments. no other singing.
• my first tattoo! thanks to @hippocampusband // it's in nathan stocker's handwriting. I love it so much. scroll down to read about it. • - - - - - this is an idea that I've had in my head for about a year now. the song violet by hippo campus (in the way that I perceive it) describes a person coming up into the world, finding their place, and experiencing the hardships on the way there. i feel this describes the point in my life that I'm currently at. this is a part of me that I want to remember forever. the reason why it was important for me to have it in one of the members's handwriting (especially Nathan) is because this band, through both their music and their presence in my life, have helped me find my place in the world and their music has basically been the soundtrack to my life. so this is me, I am violet. I am learning the ropes of the world and where I belong. thank you Nathan and hippo campus for making this happen.

We caught Hippo Campus at The Basement East last week, and they put on a hell of a show!! Check out the full gallery and review here
You already know what’s going on, y’all. It’s my sweet whipped cream boy, Zach Sutton’s birthday🎉🥳. My favorite thing about him is that he’s always being his most authentic self and that brings me so much joy😌✨
Today, June 24th, is an important day in my music history. It marks 5 years since I discovered Hippo Campus. The first song I ever listened to was “Suicide Saturday” and I discovered them through an article from Nylon Maganize. (https://www.nylon.com/articles/hippo-campus). This band means so much to me and I’m so grateful and thankful for the impact that they’ve had on my life. I love how authentic they are and they just add more light into my life. Their music is so good and it’s been so amazing to see them grow as a band and as people over the years. Stream Poems by Hippo Campus (my favorite HC song). Overall, I just wanted to say I love Hippo Campus so much and they mean a lot to me💜🥳🎉 (P.S. This isn’t intended to come off as werid or creepy or obsessive. I’m not trying to brag about how long I’ve been a HC fan, I’m not a gatekeeper or I don’t shame others for how long they like bands, I’m just showing my appreciation and love of them to y’all. Thank you for coming to my Hippo Campus appreciation TED Talk😌)
music you can dance to
Happy Birthday to the light of my life, who brings me so much joy and happiness by being himself and is an adorable sugar cookie aka Zach Sutton✨🎉
