Kombucha Update
I took the first batch, which did a second fermenation with blueberry juice and ginger, to my weekend with friends, and it was very tasty and well-received. Guzzled up.
The second batch has been moved to its second fermentation in three portions: a large one with a big portion of fresh watermelon juice, a small one with a fresh lemonade I made last week, and a third portion that I think I’m just going to stick in the fridge and drink, because I don’t have enough containers to do MORE second fermentations, and it’s pretty tasty already.
The third batch is just getting started tonight.
I already have like FOUR scobies, even though I dropped one in the sink. I decided to put it in the compost, since I’m not lacking, and I already jarred one up and stuck it in the back of the fridge until I can get another gallon jar and some swing-top bottles.

Anyway, back to our (ir)regularly scheduled posting. You get an ‘A’ for effort. (more…)

the lovely & talented dichotomy
thunder searing flesh bells whispers
laughter harsh demands echoing
sending 3 billion galaxies
universally, unilaterally, uniformly
writhing rhythmic gyrations
waves crashing inside of life
moving in out through
no permission needed
carrying with it all secrets
osmosis, baby!
repression/rejuvenation/regurgitation
it’s not about fair
it’s about seconds, months, decades
it’s about the verbs, nouns,…
