Sorry, I thought that I was already following you, rectifying this immediately.  

Thanks. I really wish that they could have it, but it's stated in the "rule book" that hard floors are strictly forbidden, to reduce noise levels. Which is ridiculous to me, as it's an old property, so it's not like the walls and floors are flimsy, plus my mother isn't likely to potter around in there with sky scrapers on 24/7. What can you do, eh...?
