misterbug is such a cute design. like look at this guy

its not even that novel of a design its just really nice to look at. plus hes so like,,, armored? and uncharacteristically quiet? and it feels less like adrien was given the ladybug miraculous and more like chat noir using the miraculous trying to live up to the legacy of his partner. especially considering the circumstances surrounding their switches, i just find that so interesting. okay one more gif for good measure

im ngl when we get to see everything in motion and completely rendered because most of the things we have seen previously were not fully rendered nor official(!!!) i think we will really like the result! im so excited

currently thinking about chat noir’s powers. if he became more advanced with his power, things could get soooo so interesting. like he could start shooting cataclysmic blasts out of his hands, im sure thats not just limited to his akumatized form. imagine the badassery of shooting cataclysm magic at akumas a la chat blanc style. or finger guns, for precision and it being a little funny.

but also,,, if hes able to be more precise with his cataclysm, memory erasing is technically On The Table. this could get scary really fast, imagine getting lobotomized by chat noir. crazy.

ive said it before but ill say it again: s1 miraculous feels like such a different show compared to s5

like, adrien calling chloe “chlo”, the abundance of ladynoir and their constant communication, the way akumatized victims interact with paris besides the heroes themselves, i could go on forever

im watching reflekta and my goodness juleka actually spoke in full, quiet but clear sentences?!?! and mari and adrien actually talk to eachother?! i dont like saying the show regressed because things got better as time went on in other aspects but my goodness!! its all so stark wow

from an adrichat perspective, im so glad adrienette is canon. chat noir is soooo so secure in the miraculer team dynamic now, hes like enjoying the new company for once thank god 🙌🏾

before, adrichat only had ladybug as a source of genuine care, attention, and love. s4 was so rough for him due to the fact that their dynamic was changed by the inclusion of the new members, especially with akumas being resolved without him. i wont get in the nitty gritty of attachment styles and all the neuroses i imagine he’s dealing with, but for the most part, adrichat hated not getting that constant care and attention from ladybug made him want to run away from any and all rejection. devastating, i know, but quite true.

now that adrien has marinette, he has a more healthy relationship to his role as chat noir. hes fully embraced the supportive role he has, and doesnt seem slighted by not always being with LB all of the time anymore. hes secure in his civilian life, so to adrien, being chat noir is now fully a responsibility to protect paris and also a fun thing to do with his superhero friends.

though, hes not fixed 💔 its very easy to observe how adrichat has switched his insecurities from his hero life to his civilian life and relationship with marinette. its really obvious in daddycop how deeply dependent he is on mari and any change in their dynamic worries him. and in illustrhater, where he noticed her disappearing act, adrien immediately started believing that she no longer loves him and prematurely prepares himself for that rejection. he just needs some consistency, poor guy 😭 im glad hes getting so much support from marinette, he needs it for sure.
