Honestly that’s one of the reasons I picked it up, I realy like ensemble stuff slice of life genre mashups?? but I thought it’d be like.. seasons 3&4 of korra levels, not... finally getting to it... ALMOST TEN HOURS INTO THE AUDIOBOOK..... and like, throughout the book I was like oh I hope it’s the alien bc she seems cool but in terms of subtext & buildup I feel like it could’ve been stronger... just a few more scenes with them in isolation.....

4) I stand by fourze having the best movie. they kind of range from eh to ok to plot relevant but fouze movie was about befriending a weapons satellite and also yuki and tomoko held hands. You just can’t top that.
