(1994) Battle Jockey
it has a kart racing feeling but with a touch of jazz flavor. it’s kinda fun!
not all of the tracks are winners though. some of them let the standards flavor creep in.
the game opens up with a pretty good track though, with “Winners Circle Title Screen” highlighting everything i mentioned in my first two sentences
(1993) Fatal Fury
it’s ok. not super strong, but I’ve nothing against it per se.
check out “Dream Amusement Park”
(1994) Fatal Fury 2
overall it’s just a weaker version of Fatal Fury Special.
“Lawrence” is still my fav tune.
"The Street Corner in the Morning Fog" Hiroshi Ebihara Steambot Chronicles
I don't think Steambot Chronicles (Bumpy Trot in Japan) is one of the more well-known JRPGs, but it is one of my favorites without question. Its soundtrack is forever deeply tied to my playing of the game my first time through, and fond memories come flooding back whenever I hear any of it. This is but one of the many highlights of the game's score.
