He wanted to get something special for Gavin. The rest of his boys were just fine without carrying something he'd help them put their energy into, something they'd be able to use to guide them. Gavin needed guiding sometimes, and almost always specifically when it came to his relationship with them.
So Michael drove out to a store in town, he'd had to help Gavin balance his energy the day before, and he'd seen how much distress he was in, so he went and wandered, circling the shelves that had all of the stones on them. His eyes scrutinized each one, and he examined them and decided finally which one to get for him. He'd make sure it was small so that Gavin could put his energy (when and only when he was happy) into it so that it would help him.
But he was worried. What if he didn't want that. He shrugged it off and decided that Gavin would follow his advice, he would know that Michael could help him.
He carefully picked out a few crystals, and even bought the parts to make one of them into a pendant. He smiled, he knew that Gavin would wear it, he'd worn other things like that when he'd bought them for him. He got a few other things for himself too, before wandering around the store, looking at things he might need, things he wanted, things he didn't know the purpose of but was interested in.
But finally, he'd worn his feet out and he'd seen everything a million times, so we went to the counter and bought his items.
He rushed home and locked himself up, making the pendant and anointing it in lavender oil. It took him almost an hour to do everything, and he put it all in a bowl and int the moon to charge. He went to get it all the next morning, and when he turned around after taking the bowl into his hands, he saw Ryan. "Making something new for yourself?"
"No, this time it's Gavs."
"Because of his breakdown the other day?"
Michael smiled and kissed Ryan softly, leaving the room to go and find gavin, who'd just crawled out of bed. He smiled "Hey Gav."
"Oh, Michael." Gavin yawned, his tone was pleased as he spoke to Michael.
"I have something for you, Gav. close your eyes."
Gavin nodded, confused, and shut his eyes. Michael first put the pendant around his neck, then gently pressed the crystals he'd bought into Gavin's palm. "These are for you. If you carry them around, they'll help you."
Gavin opened his eyes and smiled at him, tired yet more than elated that Michael had done this. "Thank you, Love." he said, carefully kissing Michael before they want happily to get some breakfast.
