I was walking to my second class by myself since my best friend didn't go to the first class. As I was walking to class a guy who I met over the weekend came up to me and said hey. I smiled and said hello then he started walking me to class. When we got to the door he hugged me and said see you later and I smiled shyly and said see you later. My best friend came up to me and said "I thought you were done dating anyone for the rest of the year. You never learn do you. He's only going to hurt you. He doesn't deserve you" I looked at him and said "he just walked me to class that's all. I'm not dating him what so ever." My best friend looked at me like I was lying to him, I poked him in the stomach and said trust me. He smiled and hugged me.. I didn't want to let go but I did. He walked to his class and I sat in my seat. I put my head down thinking "I said I wasn't dating anyone for the rest of the year because I'm waiting for him.. I know he only sees me as his best friend and he only cares about me as a buddy but I wished he felt the same way I feel about him.."
