In the beginning ... Gods creation
it is here that i am content. immersed in Gods creation, safe in your embrace. i stood at peace, taking in the decadent sunset. the cool sand beneath my feet, the salty wind brushing my nose, the ebb and flow of the ocean, where seafoam kisses the shore. heat warming my insides and bringing calm to the anxious storm in my head. each and every sense tended to and satisfied. the crackle of the flames, the scent of bonfire covering each inch of your clothing. voices lifted praising your glory and grace. your presence alive and felt by those who dont yet know you because in places like this it is undeniable. grinning madly in the presence of the family you are designing, taking mental pictures so as to not forget a single second. click. click. click. sigh. i am free. peaceful. content.

It is crazy how many times I choose to start over on this journey of health. Yes I can bring forward excuse over excuse, and how far is that gonna get me? How much healthier am I gonna get? I am officially done, done lying to myself, done bringing up excuse after excuse. I am God’s temple. The Holy Spirit lives within me, and I choose to treat this beautiful temple of the Lord’s with as much care and love as I possibly can. I understand that there will be days when I won’t go to the gym, when I will have a cheat snack, meal, day, when I’ll want to be lazy, when I’ll look in the mirror and won’t feel beautiful. But I will not let that pause be a stop, an end.God give me the strength, your strength to push on and treat your love filled creation in a way that will make you smile. God help me, Holy Spirit help me to always be true.
