  Clara looked up as she heard the voice, and visibly                        relaxed. He was here, and she felt so much safer with                        the Doctor by her side. She thought she was going to                        die. But now ?? She still had a chance.

                            “ I trust you. Thank you Doctor. ”

He doesn't count leave her. He doesn't count let her assume all the responsibility of the situation. More important to all, the Doctor doesn't count let her sacrifice her life for him. It wasn't something negotiable for him: her life was important, and no one else can say to him the contrary.

Rose had been at the school for only two weeks, and already she was hating it. She still hadn't made many friends, and kept to herself during class. However, she walked across the yard to her registration, when someone purposefully bumped into her, knocking her down and sending her books flying.

“Hey!” Rose shouted defensively, looking up to see the culprit. Clara and her friends, how wonderful. “Hello, Clara,” she murmured, gathering her books back up.

“Since when are you frightened of a bit of trouble? You can go. I’m staying.”

He pulled himself up from the stairs, blood trickling from his lip and his eye showing the beginnings of swelling. “Then don’t. Let me fix myself up and we can pretend it never happened.”

That came out colder than he intended, but he didn’t have the heart to correct himself while he trudged off to get himself together.

   They had gone to a party (Clara’s idea) and despite trying to avoid contact, one of the first persons to see them decided to greet Saibra with a hug. Despite her powers being gone, she hadn’t gotten quite used to it yet and she forgot. For as long as the embrace lasted, she could feel her whole body tingling and her heart going faster. Even as the other person stepped away with a confused expression, Saibra stood frozen in place, breath hitching and fast. “Clara…” she mumured.
