Anthropology vs Sociology

As the anthropologist Richard Geertz said, "Anthropology is an act of conservation of mankind's culture" and as the sociologist Durkheim said "Sociology consists in the study of social facts in a community" we can say that these different sciences make studies of different objects; but nowadays these two sciences have to study the same subject: large cities, big communities, or even internet groups that contain both a culture AND a sequence of social facts. Example: the polish migrants community that started existing in Chicago since the last century.It has been studied for its culture and its inability to integrate with other communities as well; it has been studied for its incredible rate of criminals, or its lack of strong values, like family, or civil union, or simply having a civil lifestyle, or not caring if any violence on others happens or is done, or respect of institutions, or even just not violating the law. Of course with projects and integration plans have been applied and now that community is not anymore the one that it used to be. According to these example,
