{ ♔ } The words of Negan used to intimidate Dwight so much so he would have fallen to his knees or pleaded for forgiveness by now, but that time was gone. Nothing was left that could break him any more. Punishments would not affect him, not even if the leader of the Saviors would give him the death by the IRON. The death would be what he wanted to receive, as he had nothing to live for what so ever. “I think I already know. But sure, be my guest and remind me. I already know that you are Negan, and that I am NEGAN. Dwight is dead. Therefore, it’s nothing left to get rid of, if you consider that the punishment for my words should be with the impact of the iron.” He sighed and replied clearly, the blue eyes without any emotion meeting the other’s gaze. “The only reason why I said it, is that you should not be an ass, you should be MORE than that. You should be YOU. Someone in here has betrayed us and you have to find them. I will help.”
His eyes narrow in on Dwight. There’s a look in his eyes — a look he doesn't like. The Dwight standing in front of him now was NOT the same Dwight he’d broken. He’s had his doubts about Dwight’s loyalties ever since he turned down the offer of spending the night with Sherry. The night offered with Sherry was his first hint. The second was now in the way Dwight looked at him and spoke to him. The only thing he needed now was proof. Proof he already had his lieutenants looking for. He leans over placing his hands on the desk in front of him. The look hitting his features is anything but a pleased one.
❝You know me better than that, Dwight. You’ve already had a meeting with the iron. That was the first and ONLY warning. No, what would come next would be so much worse. I don’t think you realize just how bad it can get for you. There are fates FAR worse than death.❞ He makes his threats without hesitation. What he and Lucille did to people, that was a mercy killing compared to what he’d do to those who crossed him and betrayed him. Betrayal was the WORST thing anyone could do after pledging their allegiance to him, and he’d DAMN sure make an everlasting example out of them. That’s how people got killed, how empires fell — betrayal was unacceptable. ❝I’m more than aware of the betrayal. I do have a question for you, Dwight boy. Eugene was about to drop some important information on me till you came in the room. Don’t think I didn’t notice that look between the two of you. See, something tells me that information wasn’t about the intercom system. A useful thing to have running but not a topper by any means. Want to tell me what the FUCK is going on with the two of you? The way I see it is, either you can tell me or I can get him to tell me. Either way, one of you is GONNA spill the beans.❞
