The Double Histories project was born from the chance encounter between a pair of scissors and a long neglected fine arts magazine. . Nora chooses two paintings by great masters, having a geographic and temporal shift if possible. . She does work in 3 phases : 1. she develops small formats to see if her encounters work. 2. the enlargement of the images and their printing to constitute a single copy for the street 3. the collage made in situ : she assembles and glues the two parts directly in the street . . On this picture you can see the combination of 2 master pieces: . Monet, Le déjeuner sur l'herbe, 1866 (original work pics 3/4) & Edward Hopper, Le Bistro 1909 (original work pic 5). .
