There was a lighting ceremony for the new #historicpineavenue sign tonight. Someone told me that the #farmersandmerchantsbank building was the oldest building on Pine Avenue. So I thought this would have been a cool pic. Not sure how true that is but when the mayor said that 90% of Pine Avenue from Ocean to 9th is now leased (I think that's what he said), then yeah, the Farmers & Merchants building, for sure, looks like it is the oldest on Pine...from Ocean to 9th.
