The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE with the purpose of protecting the emperor in his afterlife.

This is the oldest door in Britain. It was installed in Westminster Abbey before the Norman Invasion. That means the wood itself could be around 1500 years old, the oak tree might have seen the departure of the Romans. It is beyond cool. #historyhit
