Opening in 1929, the Buffalo Central Terminal served as the main rail station for the city of Buffalo until 1979. A 17 story Art Deco station, over 200 trains ran daily when it opened, with a capacity for handling over 3200 passengers. McVan’s Nite Club ———————————————— Former nite club located at Hertel and Niagara in Buffalo, New York originally operated by Lillian McVan. Later owned by a former mayor of Buffalo, McVan's found new life over the years as a supper club, rock venue and punk bar before closing for good. Advertisement based on a matchbook for the Prince Edward Hotel. First opened at 490 Pearl Street in Buffalo, NY in 1882, the Prince Edward Hotel is a piece of forgotten Buffalo history. The building went on to operate as a variety of different businesses over the years, such as Joe’s Café, Andriaccio’s, Vinny’s and Lydia’s Pearl.
