“Are you Mrs. Kent? Jordan forgot this at school, he said to swing it buy.”
@hiswcrld ( starter call )
Clark was almost through making dinner when he heard footsteps approaching his apartment. Over the past few months, he’d gotten eerily good at picking out Lois’s gait over other people’s -- it was definitely her, which his x-ray vision confirmed. Moments after she knocked, he was awkwardly shuffling over to open the door, blissfully unaware of how dorky he looked. He held a piping hot tray of roasted veggies in one mitted hand, and wore a homemade apron over his dress shirt from work. Not to mention the enormous grin he broke into upon seeing her. (God, the way she gave him butterflies...)
“Hi! Uh, come in, come in, come in...” He stepped back to let her into the apartment, carefully holding the hot tray well away from her. “I’ll just have food ready in a few minutes, you can make yourself at home...” Not that there was much space to make herself at home in -- his place was surprisingly nice, but fairly small.
@hiswcrld gets a starter from Clark
Clark had been deep in thought for several minutes. Of course, Lois usually talked enough for the both of them. And now was no exception. She was currently rambling about something. He'd stopped paying attention about five minutes ago, though he'd picked up on a few phrases here and there. When he finally started paying attention again, he realized he was totally lost. "What? Sorry. I was just thinking about something."
@hiswcrld Wanted A Clark Kent Starter
Clark was sitting in class trying to not fall asleep; it wasn't that class was boring, maybe it was, but this was easy for him; he made straight A's in all his classes and the fact that he was able to absorb and process information faster than the other students. He was doodling on his notebook when a knock came at the door. The principal walked in with a girl, a new student from the likes of it. The teacher directed her to the desk next to him, and he watched her as she made her way over, but when they locked eyes, Clark went back to doodling on his notebook.
|| CLOSED || Clark & Lois ||
@hiswcrld
Clark didn't know what to do about the information, the fact that someone had tried to clone him? Even if the clone seems to have not had any Kryptonian powers? It was concerning to say the least, even more so since Sam had yet to find who did it. Then there was Eli who the boys seemed convinced had some kind of power, and Natalie saying they should try to get him out of Smallville before he had to face Clark.
He stopped for a second to look at Lois who seemed to be letting him digest what they'd learned from her Dad. “How would I even introduce myself to him? Did his Dad know he was a clone? Does he know his Dad was a clone?” Then he was pacing again. “I can't avoid him forever if he's going to be living in Smallville, especially if he has powers like the boys seem to think.”
A News Start || Astra & Lois
@hiswcrld
Astra shifted uncomfortably. She hated waiting for people. Maybe it was just waiting in general. Or maybe it had to do with the person she was waiting for. Lois Lane had a certain reputation after all and Astra had agreed to be interviewed. Since her return to the land of the living, she’d been trying to prove to Kara and to the world that she was a changed woman, mostly. Part of the whole deal was acting in what seemed to be the family business of being a Superhero and that meant being held accountable. Kara had said that it would be for the best and that had done it for Astra. Now she sat there, in her suit, waiting for Lois to show up. Despite the woman’s connections to her family, Astra didn’t find herself willing to blindly trust a human she hadn’t met. Which had been why Astra had picked their meeting place as a small park in Metropolis. Not many people were nearby and if at any point Astra felt she needed to, she could leave.
And all of the steps that led me to you And all of the hell I had to walk through But I wouldn’t trade a day for the chance to say My love, I’m in love with you

“I’m trying to be as compact as possible,” he retorted, but the corner of his mouth was turned up in a smile, eyes sparkling cheekily. “And I know, but that’s not the point. Do you fight people in your sleep?”
