Now, before people who really like spiders yell at me, just listen. Listen first, yell later.
I like spiders. I would never get one as a pet, no, but I’m generally fine with them. Pet spiders (the domestic ones sold as pets, not found) are great. But what’s up with the wild ones? I’m not hurting you, yet you come up to me when I’m sleeping and bite me. Why? What did I do to you? I allowed you to live in my house for a bit and you go and bite me. Now, I’ve always been a little scared of spiders, but when I was a kid my grandma got bit by one and got a hole in her leg. I was like five, of course it scarred me. Now, as I’m sitting, with a spider bite on my leg that I got like two days ago and the skin looking black, I plead my case.
Spiders, stop biting us unless we’re harming you. I didn’t do anything to you, Mr./Ms. Spider, but you bit me and now my skin is black. Thanks.
