when Manaka was revealed to be Iris's biological mother my immediate thought was that Hitomi was transgender. Not that Iris was adopted. I thought "no, Hitomi Sagan is a transgender woman and Manaka carried the child." I eviscerated So Sejima in my mind. His DNA ceased to exist. Completely and utterly gone in favor of doomed yuri.
