It is 36 degrees Celsius outside. I am hibernating in my house with all the windows closed, all the Rollladen down, and all the ceiling fans on. There are ice cubes in the kids' water bowls. Canine daughter is only allowed outside for as long as she needs to potty. We are all hunkering down and waiting out this weekend. I'm keeping an eye on my garden. It's supposed to rain next week.

Morgen geht es zurück in den Backofen.

44 Grad sollen es in Palm Springs werden, während man hier auf der Insel bei etwa 30 Grad schon fast eine Strickjacke braucht.
