WARNING: PHOTO OF STITCHES/FRESH WOUND AHEAD. So. . . My clumsiness caught up to me yesterday and I took a bad fall. I happened to be holding my hive tools in my left hand, which was the hand that hit the ground first. The hive tool slashed open my wrist and I ended up needing stitches. Thankfully, nothing was broken, which feels like a miracle because I really thought I had broken my wrist for a while there. It was very scary and I was a bit of a mess. Sore today, quite swollen, and I can't really use my left hand without it pulling on the stitches but I feel a bit of an improvement! I even managed to put some syrup out on the hives today. 🐝 Never thought I had to worry about being attacked by my own hive tools!!
