Hizumi clipped from MASKED TV 2026 which premiered March 10, 2026 at 9pm, as 15 minute video promoting the Day 2 artists for MASKED 2026.

English translation below!

Hizumi: It's a collaboration in a sense; the chance for something new to be born, so I'd like everyone to come see all of it.

The theme of your MASKED photos

Hizumi: I wanted to create the look of an ink painting. So using ink and things like that, getting close to that, we put the ideas from the cameraman and makeup artist together and ultimately decided where to put it. That's what I was aiming for.

Voice Over: D'espairsRay, the very symbol an pioneer of industrial visual kei with its [*] and deep bass. After a long silence, the band decided to make its first MASKED appearance.

Hizumi: Being able to openly express all the dissatisfaction and all that you're holding on to. The title here is MASKED; I think there's of course an element of self transformation, or, of hiding yourself and expressing another version of yourself. I think that's exactly what it is.

Your thoughts on MASKED 2026

Hizumi: We get to participate for the first time, so I think it'd be great to be able to show everyone exactly what D'espairsRay is.
