Translator's Notes
The song's title is read as Kidousen, which is also how it's read in the lyrics. However, ORBIT in big bold letters is plastered everywhere in the MV, so I'm using that as the English title and for whenever it's sung in the translation. 軌道 (kidou) does mean "orbit", but 軌道線 refers to a railway line.
"Clearing up little by little" ← This line uses 「晴れていく」 which is most commonly used to refer to weather, such as rain stopping and clouds clearing up to reveal a sunny sky. I was afraid this wasn't apparent enough, so I wanted to clarify this line specifically!
"I don’t want to sit around just lamenting them, Ah" ← Originally 「嘆くだけじゃ嫌、Ah」 in Japanese, which translates to just "I don't want to just lament, Ah". However, since the previous lines talk about helplessness, I added "sit around" to emphasize that theme. Wanted to note this because I usually try to be as literal as possible with my translations, so adding something extra is pretty rare...
general notes: i really do think that black flap's motif of "hope" really shines through in this song specifically.. i almost cried multiple times while translating this but that wouldn't be any good because i can't type through teary eyes lol! let's keep supporting black flap from now on as always 🙇 + big win for neiromitsu starting off the song again 🐉🍫 (i am a traitor of a ramitsuki oshi)
