Late Night Gazing
At first, Leo thought the patrols were out. It wasn’t too crazy or unsettling, people patrolled and occasionally looked through tents to make sure of no one suspicious. But lately, Leo began to feel uneasy, with a sinking realization that he was being watched. He shrugged the thought off, of course he’d be feeling this way, he’s one of Nohr’s princes, it’s only natural that either Niles or Odin or any other would watch him. The feeling was still there, but it was slightly subdued. Then came Corrin and their proposition and order for their siblings to share a tent. Leo and Prince Takumi both objected, sharing a tent with the enemy? How absurd! Nonetheless, Corrin (the spoiled reptile hybrid) for their way, like always, and they shared tents with the Hoshidans. The only ones happy about this were Sakura and Elise, who had already grown close. Camilla and Hinoka were on a rough start, both wanting to protect Corrin more than anything (once, Camilla wanted to protect him from everything), and Ryouma and Xander… Their history wasn’t lovely either, yet they were stiffly civil. Takumi and Leo bickered and refused to talk once in the tent. The first night… was the worse. Leo was awake, laying on his side. He could feel eyes on him, locked onto his body, yet he couldn’t turn, scared that he’d find some monster. Over the weeks, the Nohrian and Hoshidan siblings got closer and they developed friendships, although people suspected Xander and Ryouma had more. Leo couldn’t sleep for his life and he confessed this feeling to Takumi, who said, “If there are any eyes, we’ll be sure to make them blind.” Leo agreed. He jolted awake when he felt lips press against his neck, he hit the person, who groaned in two tones. He turned quickly to see… “Takumi?” He asked. Takumi was close to him, aura of black, purple, and slight light blue radiating off of him. Takumi smirked, “Leo~” Leo’s eyes widened and he reached to grab Brynhilder, but was blocked by Takumi, who pinned him down, “Now, now~ is that anyway to treat me?” Leo glared, “Silence! You monstrosity, let Takumi go!” Takumi laughed, the two tones making him shiver, “‘Let Takumi go’? Oh my cute little Nohrian, that is something I cannot gift to you. But I can certainly gift you something else…~” Leo panicked and yelled while fending off Takumi, “Xander! Camilla! Anybody, hel-” Lips pressed to his own, and Leo was cut off, eyes widening…
Niles apologized to Corrin in the morning, reluctantly of course. Niles had been on watch and heard his lord shout and came to his rescue. Leo wholeheartedly thanked Niles, once more adding it to the many times he saved his hide. Ryouma apologized profusely to the Nohrian siblings, saying how he had no idea what possessed Takumi to do this. Takumi had no memory of it, Xander was going to, but Leo cut him off. It’s no use in telling him, besides, they wouldn’t be sharing tents again. Leo slept peacefully for a while, but the feeling intensified, when he and Corrin’s maid, Felicia, began to get closer…
As Leo slept, Takumi watched near him, red eyes looking over him, possessive of the person next to him. He whispered in his ear, softly, “Oh my dearest little lion… You will never be rid of me, my love…~” he kissed his ear and laughed at Leo’s shiver.
