Hawaiʻi (the fake state) has a new (fake) govenor who just announced his plans to fight the homelessness issue. his first move for that was to indefinitely suspend all laws protecting historic land, effective immediately throughout every island-- an interesting choice considering the demographics of those who are homeless in the islands (read: the largest demo left of kānaka on the islands are the homeless population), but that fact was mysteriously not mentioned at all. accompanied with this announcement was the appointing of a new head of the Department of Hawaiian Homelands, someone with no previous experience&exactly no ties to the land he's now in charge of, which i suppose should not be surprising seeing as Govenor Green is a doctor with no leadership experience&exactly zero ties to the land he is now in charge of. all of this directly on the heels of the US Air Force (being forced to) give back ~350 acres of land that were always meant to be specifically meant for Hawaiian Homelands&have been in military use, rented for roughly $1/acre, for decades.

speaking of the military, he glossed past any comment on Red Hill aside from stating that he is also not impressed with the military response.
