I think besides being partially all fatherless (Dylan and Minwoo literally don't know their fathers, while Gyujin has a useless bum for a dad) Minwoo Dylan and Gyujin get each other in a deeper level because they're the only ones who have ever been like, really poor. Everyone else in LOOPiN comes from money. J.J is ridiculously wealthy in ways no one is touching even 3 generations forward, but Haruki also comes from old school arts money (his family co-owns a museum), Seungsoo's parents and sisters are all doctors, Hanjae's parents are very wealthy, O.z's father is a businessman and he's the one who raised him even if his mom has near nothing in China, Taesong's parents are very financially stable university professors.

Of course, Haruki cut ties from his family after coming to Korea and Hanjae's parents are heartless apathetic losers who don't like him, so they're really financially on their own, but everyone else has a safety net that those three don't get; even beyond that, Haruki and Hanjae don't feel like anyone depends on them succeeding or making money, because they know that Furumi and Kendall have their surnames to fall back on.

Okay, correction: Dylan and Gyujin have no option but to do well because their families financially depend on them, Minwoo is complicated because ever since he was 14 and his mom married pretty rich to get them out of the hole his uncle left them, he's technically waaay past upper middle class, but Minwoo doesn't claim his stepfather at all and just uses him when it's convenient (like housing hurt or sick trainees way back when). And ever since J.J came into LOOPiN he has a live bank at his disposal so he doesn't need to make nice and can actively ignore the wealthy elephant in the room. Dylan and Gyujin however never make a lot of money even after LOOPiN disbands because their depts... Their depts are so catastrophic, and Minwoo never had dept because he wants to be alone and never spend a penny, and like Dylan would love to do that but he can't, because his mom and his grandparents need money. Gyujin needs to save then send money to keep his siblings well.

Wanee is a secret third thing because her primary family wasn't very poor, and with Beomseok and the Lees she didn't perceive the environment as 'poor' because just having a house with Beomseok in it was like, dream come true. Her ward/godmother was living pay check to pay check but again, she was at the Lee's most of the time anyway. I don't think she relates to them on being poor + fatherless per say because Minwoo, Dylan and Gyujin have very complicated relationships with their moms, so the ghost of a dad is like, very defined for them. Wanee just has a parental nothingness. Her sister was her sister-mom, Beomseok was her brother-dad, etc etc etc. Unfortunately no one ever trusted her enough before to depend on her.

PAGE 15. On Monday, August 18th, a video surfaced around 2:17 pm of former Colossal Music CEO Kwon Dongil being removed from Alter Ego by two police officers in handcuffs.

Witness reports said that Dongil was hurling derogatory language and profanities mainly towards his nephew Kwon Seunghyun who, as some said, was standing in the lobby and watching everything unfold with a smile on his face as he waved bye to his uncle through the door.

For the last 7 months, Colossal went from one of the fastest rising entertainment companies to once again being on the brink of disaster; Back in January, the eldest Kwon became the center controversy as it was alleged that not only was he blackmailing an ex-shareholder and evading his taxes but that he also engaged in inappropriate relationships with a former trainee and staff member.

Executives over at the company had to act fast. Though he wasn't arrested nor charged with any crimes as of yet, people just weren't too keen on still supporting them if he remained tied to the label. Not only were they losing stock at an alarming pace but fans of Insu were threatening to boycott if he had anything to do with the idol's upcoming album. In what was said to be a last minute, hour and a half meeting, Dongil was forced to step down and Seunghyun was made to take his place.

While people understood their bad blood, the real question here was why this took place at Alter Ego. Originally, the best explanation given was that they were simply discussing another collaboration between their idols; Insu over at Colossal had, at this point, 2 songs with Alter Ego soloist Jaeyi and recently worked with Cain, their newest addition, while he was independent.

Others believed it had to do with funding. With Colossal losing investors and shareholders, their steady source of income dropped drastically. This could've been the case as around April, Sandra and Seunghyun were seen grabbing coffee together and had a private conversation that looked rather important.

Thankfully, we wouldn't have to wait long for a response as on August 21, just 3 days after the disruption, Sandra Lee revealed that Alter Ego was officially merging with Colossal Music.

Due to her lack of interest in making a boy group and seeing the success that was BoyScouts and Insu, she'll take it upon herself to initiate a deal; Originally, she was meant to acquire Colossal by buying most their shares only to help secure stable financial backing. However, the idea of merging kept plaguing her mind. It was a tough pitch to make but Seunghyun found himself giving in after a month of deliberation.

Together, both companies make Poser Records. Sandra will remain as CEO and Seunghyun will act as COO. With her overseeing their female idols, this meant that he had to overlook the male idols, revealing that they'll start taking in male trainees for the first time as soon as possible. To celebrate their merger, the joint company held a large black and white party over at the Alter Ego location.

As for Dongil, he remained adamant on pleading his innocence up until the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency began properly investigating the claims against him. He's since moved from his home in the Gyeonggi Province and relocated elsewhere.

From the series 'Things I Didn't Finish': I wassss gonna make a post about LOOPiN Halloween's trought the years but I could only come up with all the costumes for these 3 because honestly only they ever gave a fuck. Also, J.J as Haku (matching with O.z as Zabuza) might no longer be canon depending on how I decide to deal with this one Plot Thing (if I end up taking this one intrusive idea I had seriously he and O.z went as Deidara and Sasori respectively. Yes the Naruto coding matters. I can't help but be who I am.)
