Palace Announced the Queen Mother’s Passing

A few minutes ago, the Palace released a statement saying that HM Emilia the Queen Mother’s had died. Her Majesty suffered a heart attack caused by the alzheimer’s disease she suffered. It’s too soon to know what kind of ceremony will be carried out to mourn Queen Emilia. However, a big event is expected by the people of Willow Creek who are mourning today a great Queen. 

Beloved by her people and family, HM Queen Emilia rests in peace today. Here are some pictures to honor the Queen’s life.

HM Queen Emilia has just fullfilled her last task as a monarch. Her Majesty has signed the abdication papers, making his son Acting King until his coronation this Saturday when he will become the King of Willow Creek. Her Majesty will now be called the Queen Mother.

Royal Statement from HM Queen Emilia

A few minutes ago, HM Queen Emilia gave an important speech to the people of Willow Creek. Her Majesty has formally announced her abdication. “It is with the greatest sorrow that I speak to you today” Her Majesty said, “As you all now, I’ve been diagnose with a terrible illness that makes it impossible for me to remain on the throne. My family and I thougth I could remain on the throne for at least another year, but, after a long talk with my son and daughters, we have come to the conclusion that I should abdicate now. Therefore, for the greater good, I must retire as your monarch. Believe me when I say that my years as your Queen had been the best years of my life and I will continue at your service untill my last day. I am glad to announce that my son, Crown Prince Henry is fully ready to take my place as your ruler and I wish all the best for him and his family on this new chapter of their lives. I sincerily hope that you all give them the same love and support you gave to me when I became your Queen. My husband and I are so gratefull for our time with you and we hope to keep working for all the people of Willow Creek. I will continue advising my son as he becomes your King, so I will not retire from my royal duties yet. Thank you again for the beautiful years you gave me as your monarch. You all have a speciall place in my heart forever.”

Nothing has been said about the coronation of Crown Prince Henry nor about the name he’ll take as King yet, but the Palace will make the announcement soon. Stay tuned for more information about it.

Today HM Queen Emilia and the Duke of Willow Creek attended the christening of HRH Prince Andrew, first son of Crown Prince Henry and HRH Princess Sofia. The young Prince’s grandparents from his mother’s side also were present at the seremony. HRH Princess Margaret was also there to see his little brother being christened.
