Hey there, Ever After.

Admin Rose here, with a little update on why everything has been so slow lately. The admins and I have been talking, and while we love our current players to the other side of the galaxy and back, we can't help but notice how slow the dash has been lately. We'd love to make this rp fresh, new, and more active, so in order to gain a little steam, we've decided on a Grand Reopening.

That's right--new graphics, new Main, and major facelifts for several of the bios and even the plot! We want to freshen up this rp as much as we can and bring a lot of these characters back to their Disney roots, but we need your help to do it! We're currently freshening up about 50 bios to start, but it's a long process, so if anyone would like to help out, send us an email at [email protected], or text me (Rose).

That being said, we would also love it if you could send any suggestions you may have on how to improve characters, plots, or the overall rp to that same email! Hopefully, if all goes well, we'll have everything up and running again in the next month or so. The more people we have on deck, the faster we'll be able to get going again!

In the meantime, feel free to keep interacting as you have been, and prepare for a whole new wave of activity coming your way.

A message from Anne, in regards to Jane:

Okay, so basically, I majorly mucked up as a writer/rper. I got ahead of myself and accelerated certain developments, causing unrealistic behaviours and reactions from Jane. After consulting the early days of the rp, the bio, and Allison Rose, I have come to the final conclusion:

She grew too much of a backbone much too fast to the point that even her deteriorating and fracturing mental state cannot make it believable. Therefore, I have requested that she more or less be “reset” to right after the engagement party (actually, more like sometime between that event and the modern AU). Most interactions will not be affected. However, the following should be kept in mind:

The para where Jane visits Clyde in the hospital was a delicious dream.

Much of the same goes for any Pittman-party interactions. Basically, let’s all say she didn’t go to the party because she was too scared by Pittman’s reputation and the idea that Jenner would be there. 

The only characters who have any sort of knowledge or idea of the abuse are the following: Warren, Finn, and Roger. The only ones who have any idea that she is in any way unhappy are the aforementioned plus Chess (since he saw her artwork). Oh, and of course Clyde, since he’s responsible for it all.

If you have any questions about how this impacts your character(s), definitely feel free to message me, text me, PM on skype, call, send smoke signals, a telegram, whatever floats your boat.

In case you don't know, I'm going to be leaving for vacation tomorrow, so I'll be on a week long hiatus. Don't worry, though--Ali (Admin B) has volunteered to step up and help with everything while I'm away! I should have cell service, so if you have my number, feel free to text me. Please make sure your character blog is a separate account from your personal or another rp blog. We prefer keeping HNA private, and it's cleaner to add your character blog to the ooc.

Make sure your anonymous messages are turned off on your character blog. We will not post a link to your page until we see you’ve abided by this. Anon hate has no place in our rp!

Send us a message from your character blog so we can post the follow link!

Send us another message from your character blog with an email address we can use to give you the ooc link.

Make sure you’re tracking the tags: hnastarter, hnafollow, hnaupdate, and hnaevent. We will use these for all of our important posts, so make sure you don’t miss one!

Use the tag "hnastarter" for all of your open starters, whether it’s a para or a gifchat.

Just a heads up--I'm still waiting to hear from the applicants for Melody Faith and Porter Radley regarding the changes to the bios before accepting them, but I'll be accepting the rest of our applications tonight when I get home from work!

I'd like to give everyone (on and off of hiatus) a warning that there will be an activity check this coming weekend. I'm being very lenient right now since I'm on hiatus myself, but once I'm back, please don't expect me to let everyone's activity go on like this. People who have asked for a hiatus are safe. People who haven't returned from a hiatus are not. You've all been warned.
