i dont think im a particularily self loathing person atm but it does make me annoyed that on weeks i spend the extra hour blowdrying and smoothing my hair out i feel so much better leaving the house, not even factoring in how people Actually treat me differently. like obv this has a lot to do with how women are scrutinized + percieved but it frustrates me that even i, someone who's generally pretty happy with my body, still feels the affects of this facet of internalized? i guess? misogyny.
