I've never really done headcannons so I'll give it a shot!
kili doesn't really care that you're a hobbit, race differences don't really bug him as much as they would fili or thorin. he's pretty chill about that kind of thing and will be interested in you regardless
if you were joining them on the journey i feel like it could go either way, either he's super overprotective and always watching over you or he's treating you the exact same as any of the guys there's no in between
he does however spend every waking moment trying to get you to laugh, being funny and sort of care-free is his whole thing and he just can't help but want to put a smile on your face anytime he can
he doesn't realize that he likes you as more than a friend until really far into the journey, i'm thinking like Laketown
he's sick and realizing that things are a lot more serious and real than he had realized and suddenly he can't stop thinking about you
he cares about you, like a lot and he doesn't want you to go into the mountain without knowing that
ngl it's kinda awkward when he tells you at first, he's pale and you're more worried about him possibly passing out than you are about what he's actually saying
when you do realize what he's trying to tell you, your entire face flushes and you tell him you feel the same way
the next morning when the rest of the company are leaving you decide to stay with Kili, you yell at Thorin though when he doesn't let Kili on the boat
Kili gets better and immediately looks for you, seeing you bleeding from the fight with the orcs but still smiling at him all pretty
he pulls you close and kisses you (the first of many) and you two go off to save a town and kill a dragon
I feel like at the end of botfa (everyone lives cuz i said so) Thorin would be a lot less strict than you'd think... like they all almost dies so who cares that Kili loves a hobbit?
you two live together in the mountain for a very long time all happy and in love
i feel like you wouldn't really want to go on any more adventures and neither would he
like, you've found each other and you now know how easy it would be to lose each other and you don't want to risk it
you occasionally take trips back to the shire to visit Bilbo and Kili never misses the chance to be a bad influence on Frodo
he loves you and you love him and that's all that really matters
