It was his favourite part of the night and he was sure she didn't even know it.

'Ahh,' he thought as he listened to her walk through the kitchen and turn on the taps. 'It's an American rap sort of night.' Not what Sherlock would have selected, but it was always her choice, of course...

🎵... don't know what, they want from me, it's like the more money we come across the more problems we seeeeeee...🎶

Molly's voice rang out through the flat as she prepared for bed. She came into the bedroom with a glass of water, smiled at him and sat it on her bedside table. Then she was gone again, this time into the bathroom.

🎵un, uh...🎶

'And here comes...'

🎵B.I.G., P O, P P A, no info, for the, DEA. Federal agents mad cause I'm flagrant. Tap my cell and the phone in the basement🎶 "Son of a...!" The singing, well at this point, awful rapping suddenly stopped.

"Sorry!" he called out.

"It's fine. But you could warn a girl!" she shouted back.

"There's a skinned pig's head in the tub. Don't pull back the curtain!"

"Ha bloody ha!"

And that was all he heard until she walked back into the room ten minutes later.

"The was wholly unpleasant, by the way." She grabbed a jar of lotion from the top of her table and got into bed.

"Aren't you going to finish the song?" he asked.

She shrugged and started applying her lotion. "I'm not in the mood anyone," she said, playfully pouting. "Don't act like you're disappointed. I know you don't enjoy it."

Waiting until she was finished and the jar placed back on the table next to her, Sherlock finally said, "I'm a man of many shocking secrets, Molly, you should know this by now," as he turned to her. He wrapped his hand over her hip, tugging her closer. "I happen to love your voice."

Molly giggled, quickly giving into his attentions.

After a sound snogging, he pulled back. "Besides, Federal agents mad 'cause I'm flagrant, too," he said, then dove back for another kiss.

Okay, Molly's singing might be his *second* favourite part of the night.

(I wrote this on my phone so I hope it's not awful... And most importantly, I hope it's just silly enough to make you smile, sweetness!)

Just received this in the mail! And I wanted to say thank you to all the sherlolly writers out there for helping me thru a very difficult time. You don’t know me. I never had the nerve to speak to any of you. But each and every one of you helped save my life. I was in a dark place. The show “Sherlock” sparked a tiny flame that reminded me it wasn’t all darkness. But this fandom was a constant light helping guide me back by giving me something to look forward to all the time. A new story. The next chapter. A new writer. Constant reminders that the story isn’t over! So THANK YOU ALL!!! And I hope you all know that when I look at this mug (which is going on my desk for everyday use) I will be seeing all of you as much as the characters that we all love. (And lilsherlockian1975? This came from the place where your husband directed me for the t-shirt. Expecting that soon. This turned out so cool! Please thank him for me). I know there are plenty of writers I didn’t tag...how does one basically tag an entire fandom? Actually, I’m not sure I tagged this at all correctly. I’ve never tagged anything before. Well, I’ve never posted anything before so here goes nothing...

Sherlolly Fanfic Week Day 6: All the stories I read today

I don’t have enough time to review too many stories. So I’m going to cheat. I only read one very short story today. (It is still in the morning here, but I am not going to read any more stories before the end of the day today.) And the one I chose is one of the most recent @hobbitsdoitbetter’s stories.

Fireplay for Beginners is set in a fantasy world. In this story, Molly is “an illegal merge”. As far as I understand from reading the prologue and the first chapter, this means that Molly’s trade is an unlawful service to those who pay using her skills in magic. Mary is Molly’s sidekick with skills of maybe some kind of mercenary. These two are hired to find Queen’s missing youngest son. (Guess who it is. :) In the prologue Molly makes all sorts of mistakes in handling fire with her magic and burns down a house (a manor house or a castle?). Now we know why this story is titled in the way it is.

I love Molly in this story. She’s so different and yet retains her very essence from Molly in the original drama. I love the way Sherlock makes his appearance in the prologue. I love the humour enriched by details. I’m so looking forward to its updates.
