Free stuff you can do with your friends
are you dirt poor? unemployed? basically a borderline hobo??
That’s OK because you are not alone !
My friend and I have been trying to brainstorm ways to hang out and not be too bored, all whilst not spending a lotta $. (he’s got a job but he’s saving up for his big holiday trip overseas.. and I’m just a broke ass bum) SOO.. here are a few activities we’ve participated in, will participate in or just came up with but not too sure about...
1. BOARD GAMES
So far we play card games and have played monopoly. I have plans to invite my BFF + her BF to join us.
2. Cafe + chill
This will cost you about $5 for coffee/tea and you sit there for a couple of hours... you can play card games, stare at laptop, talk about stuff... We do this ALOT.
3. Eat Ramen for meals
They are an average of $1 each. You can eat that together instead of going to the nearest restaurant which will set you back by $20. You can also fancy your ramen up by adding garnish and putting it in proper bowls.
4. Go to parks
Walk, play on the playground jokingly because it’s not that fun and you’re too tall for everything, sit on the table and chat, play more board games, perhaps have a picnic.
5. Go Swimming at a public pool
We haven’t done this, we’ve only dipped our foots whilst checking out the new pools at Springfield. I also do not have plans to do this.. until I start exercising.
6. Exercise
Go jogging, walking, hiking, play sports... etc. In fact I went for a jog today with my friend for about 2km... It was the most running I’ve done this month... perhaps this year...
7. Make a YouTube Account
This one i’m planning to do with my girl friend. Just gotta figure out how to not look shitty on camera, and also how to edit/upload/allthatstuff.
8. Go Volunteering
This ones for me because I don’t have much going on in life ATM. If I can’t find a job yet I might as well work for free and keep busy. right?
9. Cook with your friends and have a night in
I just gotta convince my friends that this is a good idea.
10. Netflix + Chill
No, but really, watch Netflix and make snacks at home. No money spent! (except for that Netflix account)
11. Go Dumpster Diving
Now I’m very open minded. VERY. I’m pretty much down for anything.. other than drugs and religion. But I saw this when I Googled, ‘free things you can do with your friends’ and I mentioned it to my friend and He clearly was too good for that. I just don’t have a friend that will do such things, thus I will not do so. You can’t dumpster dive alone... especially if you’re borderline hobo.
I apologise that I had to end it at 11. Gross. An odd number. But I hope this helps.

My Biggest College Regrets
Listen and learn followers.
1) Make sure your college doesn't have a super anal foreign language program before sign up for a class you think will be a blow-off. Aka wishing I started at Spanish 1 and worked my way up because so far Spanish is screwing me over.
2) Don't take the maximum number of credit hours your Freshman year (: because you will hate yourself everyday. single. day. for doing that.
3) don't pansy out when it comes to asking that cute guy to be your lab partner. because he might turn out to be your dream guy and then you will regret never taking the chance to talk to him. (aka the guy that sits next to me in chem is super cute (and hes also in my chem lab) and he's like a genius omg and he's also from cali AND he's a surfer but not in that stereotypical beach bum kind of way and he has a really cute smile wow why am i such a chickenshit)
4) talk to your profs. I'm kinda starting to get to know my bio professor but like I should have talked to more last semester.
5) study study study take that shit seriously man because i didn't. and i need to work on that.
6) yea okay so dont become a pre med major unless you're willing to put in the effort because its hard. like really hard. social life? fuck that. i get back from classes and maybe have like an hour of free time and then it's homework time. I can't even enjoy my breaks because when i go back home i have to work.
in essence don't go to college kids.
Sometimes i wanna dress really nice
but then i get lazy and look like a hobo :D #hobolyfe
