Rochester is somewhat big on hockey. And one of N and I’s housemates, A, plays hockey. She grew up with hockey lessons and being on lots of really solid hockey teams and leagues, and she’s continued it for fun in her adulthood.
I love that she plays hockey. I got to watch her play and win her last game of the season last year, and she was great! So N & I were thankful to have a second shot at seeing her team win the local league. It was especially bittersweet because it would likely be our last time seeing her play in Rochester since she was moving out of Rochester in a few weeks.
The team didn’t win and we didn’t get to see A score, but they made a great effort that made it a fun and intense game to watch! We’re so proud of A and are going to miss her so much when she leaves.
