I randomly got hit with the inspiration to rewrite Actions Speak Louder.

Instead of Snow having her abilities dormant until someone speaks her true name (Hoenira) and eventually getting split in two with her abilities split as well, I was thinking of her already being two from the start. What I mean is when Floki finds Snow in the forest it's not just Snow but her twin Hoenira as well. They both have diluted abilities and Hoenira resents Snow for that because if Snow didn't exist then Hoenira would be at 'full power' and vice versa. Hope this makes sense because I miss Actions Speak Louder and I think this would fix what I felt went wrong with it the first time.

The God Hoenir walked through the fallen snow within the forest with a female child walking beside him and an identical child being carried in his arms. It was that moment he knew who was the stronger and so he gave the child beside him his namesake - Hoenira, and the child in his arms he decreed would be called Snow for she was as weak and fragile as a mere snowflake. What Hoenir never considered as he left the sisters in the forest for the start of their destiny, he not once considered the fact that snow can be a powerful force once given enough time...

Actions Speak Louder - Updated - Episode 11

Hoenir sat down with a heavy sigh as he looked her over, speaking within her mind, “Oh, my daughter, what have you done to yourself?” He leaned over and sliced the ropes to free her. “The Norns are not pleased with you, my daughter. The events of your life are not happening as they should. You were never supposed to give you name to another, daughter. You were meant to speak your name for yourself. No mortal should have that much power at their disposal. I suppose it was the mortal in you that allowed yourself to trust.”

Snow pulled herself up and took deep breaths. “What are you trying to say to me, Hoenir?” Snow did not understand.

“I am here to make things right. Lagertha should not have died that day. The war must be waged.” Hoenir stood up and crossed the short distance between them.

Snow did not understand what he was talking about. “What war? What are you talking about?”

Hoenir placed his hand on Snow’s head. “I swore to Odin I would make things right.”
