Hörnchen - the German version of French croissants 🥐 Ein Rezept (auf Deutsch): https://www.chefkoch.de/rezepte/2253181360663190/Brioche-Hoernchen.html
Die Brötchen = bread rolls (plural). The crescent on top is “das Hörnchen” in German (“little horn”) or we just say “der Croissant”, like in French. Das Mehrkornbrötchen = multi seed roll (my personal favorite), das Sesambrötchen = sesame roll, das Mohnbrötchen = poppyseed roll. If you’re a tourist and can’t remember all that, just point and nod but DO NOT miss trying delicious German bread rolls at a German corner bakery. :)

The German version of French croissants. Try one - homemade or from a bakery. :)
no i cannot be bothered to crop my screenshots but here’s a friendly reminder that trahearne was literally the first ever sylvari to walk the grove yet he didn’t even feel at home there anymore by the time you meet him because his wyld hunt and choices related to it made him distant and unpopular among his people those ungrateful fucks :))
Listen. Consider. What if Trahearne....... but with scruff. Just a real good stubble. That is all i will be thinking about it for the rest of the week.
Trahearne: Marshal of the Pact (affectionately)
Logan: Marshal of the Pact (derogatory)
one thing that really gets me everytime i play through the personal sylvari story is when the pale tree finally tells the valiant that she wants them to meet her oldest child, and caithe immediately replies “mother, is that wise?”. that always struck me as kinda odd, like why would caithe worry about the valiant meeting trahearne, but like. we know those two are very close, probably closer to each other than they are with anyone else since caithe is a very secretive person with immense trust issues and trahearne has a very lonely wyld hunt and feels like an outsider in the grove, so my headcanon definitely is that in that moment caithe - who is smart and can easily put two and two together, and also is a solid judge of character - already knew that the future commander was someone trahearne would grow to trust and respect - and worst of all, even grow very fond of. and caithe realized that it would possibly end in nothing but even more heartache for her brother. and that kinda kills me.
