‘’Yes Daddy its true, although I haven’t met Caia’s Daddy yet because he has to work a lot to like you but he drawers a lot of pictures for a living, that’s what Caia told me, can she come to tea one night Daddy please?’’ She begged as he chuckled.

‘’I would have to talk to her Daddy first baby to make sure it was okay’’ He replied as he dug around in her bag and found some hair ties, ‘’turn around’’ Pulling her hair back softly, Derek started to braid it like he had learnt from his sister. ‘’but if her Daddy says its okay then I can’t see why not’’

‘’Yay, I love you Daddy’’ She grinned as she turned around and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

Sometimes, yes. Quite often autistic people will hyperfocus on things, for example. “The Zone” that some athletes get into (all that “be the ball” type stuff) is hyperfocus, as well. But it’s not tremendously common in the general population the way it is with ADHDers (and just to be clear, some ADHDers never hyperfocus either, it’s just something many of us do and some do it WAY more than others).

Apparently ao3 wasn’t posting comments so mine weren’t uploaded to your fic 😭 idk what’s going on w their servers but over the last week or two I’ve not had access about half the time anyway so I just wanted to say how well-written the last two chapters were 😍 I can’t remember all the things I said about them but it was all good! The time skips and how appropriate they were and the characterization again and how it’s perfect 😭 I’m just sad it’s over 😔 but glad the ending is well done! 🌸💖
